This beautiful sunset picture was taken in Lobo, a municipality in the province of Batangas, in the Philippines.
Batangas is one of the most popular tourist destinations near Metro Manila in the Philippines. The province has many beaches and is famous for excellent diving spots. Other interesting places are the Taal Volcano and the Taal Heritage town, a small picturesque town that has ancestral houses and structures dating back to the 19th century.
The origin of the name “Lobo” ia uncertain, it could came from the Tagalog (and Spanish) term for wolf, which is “lobo”, the River Lobo, which is in Lobo itself, or the name of a group of early inhabitants, the Lolobos.
